His real name was Robert Nesta Marley Booker, he was born in Nine Miles, Saint Ann Parish, in Jamaica, the 6 of February on 1945.
He had been singing in many diferents groups but the most fomous was the Wailers:
-Bob Marley (singer and guitarrist)
-Peter (bass and guitarrist)
-Bunny (percusion)

He married with Rita Anderson in 1966, and they had 5 sons. Bob Marley, in his tours he had many gerlfriends and he had another 7 sons. Two sons of that 12 became profesional singers.

He died in 1981 because of a brain cancer. When he died they found 31 types of head insects in his rastas. He was a Rastafari, that is a religion, and he became archbishop of this religion.
